He’s always said that hospitality should be accessible and fair, without compromising on comfort, food, or service.”

While many hotels are increasing their prices, the Bailie Hotel is sticking with a straightforward, value-first approach. A double or twin room from just €125 midweek and €150 on Saturdays includes breakfast and top-class service. “Our breakfast is freshly cooked every morning,” Kate adds. “Guests can enjoy a proper Full Irish or choose something lighter. It’s the kind of start to the day you remember.”

The Bailie Hotel recently earned the Best Business in Tourism Award, a recognition of its impact on the local community and the standard it sets in Irish hospitality. With 10/10 guest reviews on Google, Booking.com, and its own website, the guest experience speaks for itself.

“That award meant a lot, but it’s the guest reviews that really matter,” says Kate. “People are always complimenting our amazing team—from our friendly front-of-house staff, to our brilliant chefs, and of course our manager Delia.”
