As the weekend approaches, the town of Bailieborough is preparing for a meaningful event of honouring Our Loved Ones at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Sunday Sept 3rd at 12 noon in Bailieborough, a place where generations of families have laid their loved ones to rest. It's a time to come together, to share stories, offer prayers, and remember the moments that shaped the lives of those who have passed away. Reflecting on Life's Journey, we pause to consider the lives they led, the impact they had on our own journeys, and the legacies they left behind. This shared experience of loss and remembrance creates bonds that go beyond the immediate family, extending to neighbours, friends, and even acquaintances. Continuing the tradition & following the ceremony, the local community hotel, The Bailie, owned by Austin Kelly a native of Bailieborough himself, & who also has family members laid to rest at St. Annes cemetery, warmly welcomes attendees to gather for a Sunday roast, to share stories, laughter, and nourishment in the homely surroundings of the Bailie Hotel. Lets come together as a community, honoring the lives of those who have left us while embracing the beauty of life's journey. As we gather to share stories, support one another, and partake in a Sunday roast at The Bailie, we find solace in the collective embrace of our shared experiences.
